Ellie Brown

From working in the City for 16 years running a Company of Restaurants and Bars, I took a big leap of faith and retrained to follow my passion for fitness.

This passion began at the sports school, Millfield, in Somerset.  I was the West of England Long Jump Champion and ran and played hockey for Somerset. I was a keen player of squash and tennis (and any other sport which happened my way!)

Throughout my life, I have continued to keep fit and run competitively for Kent Athletics Club. I regularly compete in road and cross-country races and in April 2006 I completed my first marathon, the Flora London Marathon in 4hrs and 7 mins and am competing in my second London Marathon in April 2009.  Download one of my favourite runs by clicking here..Route Summary Greenwich.doc

I run Pilates classes for all levels as well as small 'Mother and Baby' Post-natal Pilates and Pregnancy Pilates....To see classes. I also enjoy teaching Pilates based exercise to a small group of children as part of their occupational therapy.

I am available for Personal Training on a one to one or one to twos basis, I run a small running group, "The Greenwich Runners" .....Read more & a post-natal exercise class "Running Mummies"....Read more

My love for athletics has developed into coaching and along with the running groups, I also teach athletics to local Primary School children.

I was born in 1966, live in Greenwich, have a husband and three children and I love to cook, eat and enjoy a glass of wine. I don’t bite, shout or swear!

I look forward to hearing from you.
